We did a thing, and it was glorious.

The Team page of this website includes photos of the core team of Transcendental Acres. I tried to get away with a quick selfie, but Rex was having none of it.

“Your picture needs to reflect your art” he said. “Make it personal.”

I don’t like personal. I don’t like photos of myself. I am typically behind the camera for good reason; I don’t like to be in front of it.

Against my better judgement, I leaned into the discomfort and suggested a photo shoot. Semi-clothed. With lots of paint, both on me and on the canvas.

It was amazing. Phenomenal. Better than that, it was FUN. It was an experience, and the photos and video here are the relics of that experience.
